Join a State Forum

The strength of our organization comes from individual involvement at the state level. Thus, every individual can make a difference.

Through our network of state editorial boards, the Forum assists the progressive community in developing op-eds and related materials that are distributed to the print and broadcast media. The Washington office helps local Forums to develop strategies for getting op-eds placed in their local media. The Forum also helps groups to think strategically about their messages, to find authors for an op-ed, and to turn the op-ed into a media packet.

The Forum is interested in working with as many groups as possible. If you have a story idea for an article, are interested in becoming involved with a Forum in your state, or if you would like to help establish a Forum, please let us know. Our staff will put you in touch with people in your region who can assist you.
